Grace Before Meals Prayer Card Competition

Following on from the Grace before meals artwork competition, we were overwhelmed by the fantastic and creative entries from our Year 7, 8 and 9 students. The competition invited students to create a piece of artwork inspired by the values of St Francis’, focusing on the themes of Peace and Social Justice, Love for Animals and Nature and Ministry to the Poor. Once again, our students rose to the challenge and produced some outstanding pieces of artwork, making it very difficult to choose a winning design.

All of the entries received a headteachers award for their amazing effort and contribution.

We are delighted to celebrate the following students:

First place: David Moraru 8L

Second place: Ria Ramkhelawon 7L

Third place: Olivia Okelo 8L

Our overall winning design, created by David Moraru, will be transformed into a Grace Before Meals Prayer Card, which will be distributed to all students and staff in September. Please see below our final design for the prayer card. The featured prayer was produced by our Chaplaincy Reps and Fr Fidelis recently.
